S.A.F.E - Suicide Awareness For Everyone. Sign up a team to play or just bring the family and enjoy a day in the park to watch the games. Cheer for your favorite team(s) from our community including Greater Farmington Area Chamber of Commerce, Public Safety, City Services and other department and groups. All for a great cause. Teams are CO-ED. A minimum of 3 female players must be on the field for defense and batting order at all times. Registration includes a bracketed tournament schedule with 2-loss elimination, 12 team event t-shirts (upgrade to Dry Performance for extra fee), free drink and food tickets for all players and lot of fun! Tournament winners' legacies are scribed into our S.A.F.E tournament trophy to remember for years to come. Champs and runner-ups will receive medals. Additional concessions and adult beverages will be available for purchase. Funds received from this tournament will go to benefit Farmington S.A.F.E and the Graham E. Smith Memorial Fund.

Join the Farmington Hills Recreation Department for a Mother Son Night Out at the Hawk Community Center! We will have snacks (no dinner), music, dancing, games, activities and more! Registration required for both adult and child.

The Farmington Hills Nature Center is bringing live animals and hands-on nature activities to the HAWK Community Center! Highlights include a live animal presentation, creative STEM challenges, and nature games. Don't miss this great opportunity to explore nature at the HAWK. Registration required for children 18 months and older.

Get ready for the 18th Annual Backyard Farmington Hills Campout!
For one night we are creating a campground in Heritage Park and offering families the opportunity to try camping. Pitch your tent and set up your site any time after 1pm on June 1st, then explore the outdoors or take part in our camping activities that provide fun excitement and education on the many ways to enjoy the Great Outdoors. Afterwards cozy up by the campfire and cook your marshmallow over Farmington Hill’s biggest campfire. Registered campers will also get free entry into our Great Campout Raffle for a chance to win prizes sponsored by Dick's Sporting Goods. Hot dog dinners and pancake breakfast will be provided to all registered campers thanks to our partners and sponsors at Busch’s Fresh Food Market. Additional concessions will be available for purchase. One tent allowed per campsite. Six people maximum per site for family camping.
