Stretch your imaginations and have a blast in this fun mixed media camp! Many different projects, themes and media may be explored throughout the week, including painting, drawing, collage, sculpture, printmaking and more! Be sure to register early as price increases by $20 one week prior to camp starting. AM and PM Extended Care available for an additional fee.

This exciting opportunity to play with clay teaches campers the fundamentals of ceramics by making pinch pots, tiles, and more. Campers in the 9-12 age group may also have opportunity to take a spin on the wheel. Participants will work in traditional white clay as well as other varieties.

Please note that some work may not be ready to come home on the final day of camp. If some pieces require additional drying time prior to firing in the kilns, campers will be notified when their work is complete and ready to pick up. Camp is located in our brand new community center with a state of the art aquatic center, tons of outdoor play space, large indoor gymnasium, and marvelous camp rooms. This summer, campers will meet new friends, create art projects, go swimming, play outside, try out new fitness activities, and much more.

Multi-Sport (Basketball & Soccer) programs are designed to introduce young athletes to a variety of different sports in one setting. Athletes will learn the rules and essential skills of each sport, along with vital life lessons such as sportsmanship and teamwork.

Adventure awaits at the Nature Center's Winter Survival Camp! Campers will explore the outdoors through a variety of activities including animal tracking, snowshoeing, fire building and building snow shelters! Campers will be outside for most of the day. Proper winter attire is a must! Campers should bring a bag lunch and water bottle.

Spend your Spring Break at the Farmington Hills Nature Center. We will explore different nature activities including hiking, outdoor skills, archery, wetlands, animals, outdoor games, trips to the Nature Center and more! Campers should dress for the weather, bring a bag lunch and water bottle each day.
