Whether you've never been on a board or you're a seasoned shredder, Plus Skateboard Camp is for you! Learn board set-up, safety tips, history, graphic design and more. Participants will work on their swing and grip on the driving range, develop a smooth putting stroke and have the opportunity to play a few holes each night. At the end of camp, each golfer will receive a certificate for one nine hole round of golf.

Stretch your imaginations and have a blast in this fun mixed media camp! Many different projects, themes and media will be explored throughout the week, including painting, drawing, collage, sculpture, printmaking and more!

Get crafty in this instructional hands-on class. Participants will explore projects such as puppetry, jewelry making, pottery, fibers and more.

This exciting opportunity to play with clay teaches campers the fundamentals of ceramics by making pinch pots, tiles, and more. Campers in the 9-12 age group may also have opportunity to take a spin on the wheel. Participants will work in traditional white clay as well as other varieties.

Young artists set sail for an art adventure! Each day we will trot around the globe or travel back in time to discover ancient, traditional, and contemporary art forms from different cultures around the world! A variety of media will be used, including painting, drawing, 3-dimensional, and more!

Delve into the world of storybook arts and illustration. Create your own graphic novel during this one week camp where you’ll explore story development, and technical skills.

Campers will learn about and be inspired by past and present artists that hail from Detroit. The city has a rich history of eye-catching sculptures, breath taking paintings, and mesmerizing murals that have helped to create and document the culture of Detroit. This is a great camp for those wanting a mixed-media art experience that enriches their perspective about the city we call home.

A great intro to all things dance and movement. If you’ve never taken dance classes or are still relatively new to the art form, this is a great camp for you! We’ll learn about healthy movement, different types of dance, stretching and more.

This half-day camp is for our youngest dancers interested in performing. Students will learn basic ballet technique and give a performance at the end of the week based on a popular children’s story.

Come join the Hawk block party. This camp introduces participants to the history and different styles of hip hop music and dancing including breakdancing, krumping, pop and lock, and more!

Get your little one introduced to music with Mini Mozarts! Campers will learn about and play different types of instruments and work together to create original compositions! The week will culminate with a performance for friends and family.

This full-day camp is great for youth to become more comfortable performing on stage.  Participants are actively engaged in drama through music, storytelling, movement, improvisation and theatre games. A performance will be held on the final day of camp.

A hands-on, high-energy, exciting exploration of the musical theatre genre, including singing, acting and choreography. Campers will work together to present a musical theatre performance for friends and family on the last day of camp.

Along the lines of Saturday Night Live and Second City, this camp helps young actors learn how to think quickly on their feet while honing their craft. Improv actors get to work as a team to quickly develop their own stories based on short prompts. The great thing about improv is you never know how you’re going to have fun... you just know you always will.

One of our most popular theatre camps, participants will work as a group to write, direct, and act in their own play. This non-musical, fun-filled theatre camp focuses on story and character development plus line memorization, expression, physical acting and improvisation. There will be a performance on the final day of camp.

Interested in acting and performance and wanting to take your stage presence to the next level? This camp will enable you to take your acting and auditioning skills to a higher level while rehearsing on a real stage.

Art Adventure is a multi-disciplinary exploration in the visual and performing arts. Campers will be divided into smaller groups and will rotate to different artistic specialties throughout the day, spending time making and moving in visual arts, dance, music, and theatre! This is a great camp for those that love all things creative and imaginative.

Diving into the world of music, campers will learn about rhythm, musical composition, and more! What kind of music can we create, and how will we create it? Join us on the final day of camp for a performance full of composed melodies, tunes created with instruments, and even every day objects!

Learn the art of songwriting, composing, and performing. This program includes creative writing, and vocal instruction. Students will write a song and perform with and for their peers.

Campers will enjoy group and individual attention on the basic fundamentals of soccer, basketball, dance, kickball, and gymnastics. These activities will take place with new and different approaches to each activity through fun games, contests, and mini-tournaments. The camp will play all activities mentioned above daily. P2 Soccer Training provides a professional soccer experience for children ages 6-16. P2 Trainers are from around the world and each holds a professional coaching License from their home country and the U.S. Each day players focus on a skill, how to execute properly and how to apply to real game situations. Campers should bring soccer ball, shin guards, soccer cleats, tennis shoes and a lunch daily. Price increases $20 one week prior to camp start. Ages 6-16.

Camp Polar Bear is for our friends ages 6-11, this camp combines Turtle, Otter, and Penguin for one final week before summer ends. Campers will be split up into age groups during the day. Camp is located in our brand new community center with a state of the art aquatic center, tons of outdoor play space, and much more. This summer campers will meet new friends, create art projects, go swimming, play outside, adventure through virtual field trips, try out new fitness activities, and much more.
