This one hour class will teach the basics of shooting a bow so you can feel more comfortable and prepared when taking shots on the range. Equipment and shooting range time is provided. Limited spots available. Registration is required.

Discover the sport of archery through instruction and games. This 4 week class will cover safety, use of equipment, and practicing the life-long skill of archery. All equipment will be provided, thanks to Michigan DNR and Safari Club International-Novi Chapter.

You must complete the Beginner Archery Class before signing up for this class. This six-week archery class provides archers the opportunity to continue to perfect the skill obtained in the beginner class and will teach several types of competitive archery from Olympic FITA style targets and scoring, NFAA targets, 3D targets and scoring, and more. All archery equipment for this program has been provided by the Michigan DNR and Safari Club International-Novi Chapter.

You must complete the Beginner Archery Class and Intermediate Archery Class before signing up for this class. This 6-week class provides archers the opportunity to learn USA Archery NTS techniques like U.S. Olympic Athletes. This class also includes video capture of participants shooting form and other advance techniques including mental management, journaling, etc.

Come in costume and join us to shoot for treats.

Farmington Public Schools PTA, Farmington Hills Special Services, the Michigan High School Archery Association, and USA Archery have partnered up to develop Archery teams for 3rd-12th grade students. Students in 5th-12th grade will practice one hour/week for 9 weeks at the Riley Archery Range and will compete in a tournament on May 18 against other school teams in Michigan at the end of the season. Students in 3rd-4th grade will practice one hour/week for 9 weeks on Thursdays and will be competing against other Farmington Public School teams at a tournament ton May 23 at Riley Archery Range. Everyone who registers will be accepted on the team and team members will be representing their school. All necessary equipment, coaching by USA Level 1 & 2 instructors, and team shirt will be provided (students are allowed to use their own equipment).

Farmington Hills Special Services, the Michigan High School Archery Association, and area homeschoolers have partnered up to develop an archery season for homeschool families. All necessary equipment and coaching by USA Level 1-3 instructors will be provided (students are allowed to use their own equipment). All students will have five practices, and participate in a tournament on the last day. Top scores from different age divisions will receive 1st-3rd place medals.

Novi Parks, Recreation & Cultural Services, Farmington Hills Special Services, Michigan High School Archery Association and USA Archery have partnered up to develop Archery Team for 5th-12th grade students who attend Novi Schools. Everyone who registers (beginner-advanced) will be accepted on the team and team members will be representing their school in a tournament on May 18 against other school teams in Michigan. All necessary equipment, coaching by USA Level 1 and 2 instructors, tournament fees, and team shirt will be provided (students are allowed to use their own equipment).

Adults 50 & Better archery season is designed for both beginner and advanced archers. Everyone will practice the first four weeks, with the season ending with a tournament on the last week. Top scores from different divisions (equipment type and male/female) will receive 1st-3rd place medals. All practice and the tournament will take place at Riley Archery Range in Farmington Hills. All necessary equipment, shirt, and coaching by USA Level 1-3 instructors will be provided (participants are allowed to use their own equipment).
(Practice will be made up on Wednesdays should inclement weather occur)

Junior Olympic Archery Development (JOAD) Archers will work on improving shooting technique and scores, play games, earn USA Archery achievement pins, prepare for competition, and represent the Farmington Hills JOAD ARCHERY CLUB during competitions. Individuals must have a USA Archery Membership, available at www.usarchery.org/memberships/become-a-member (select Farmington Hills JOAD)

Archery open shooting is by appointment only. Your one-hour time slot includes set up and clean up time. Please select the time and date that you would like to reserve. TO RENT EQUIPMENT: please find the Archery Equipment activity number PR4818 and select the same time and date as your Open Shooting Appointment. A $5 fee will be charged per person for equipment.
