The After School Youth Program invites all Farmington Public Schools 6th-8th grade students! This includes 6th-8th grade residents in school of choice and homeschool students in the FPS district. The ASYP will offer students a fun environment to socialize with peers and engage in a variety of activities at The Hawk Community Center! The ASYP in partnership with Club Z Tutoring will be providing free tutoring to all students in the program. Students will have The Hawk facilities accessible to them including the gym, fitness center, pool, concessions, and outdoor fields. The program is available from school dismissal starting at 2:35pm until student pick-up from The Hawk at 5:30pm. It is the responsibility of the parent/ guardian to pick up their student by 5:30pm. Late fees will apply upon late pick-up from the program. It is recommended students bring a snack and water bottle! Bus transportation will be provided for students attending FPS Middle Schools (East, Warner, Power, and STEAM). Upon registration you will receive more detailed information to help you and your student plan their attendance to the ASYP! EMERGENCY CONTACT INFORMATION MUST BE COMPLETE IN ePACT BEFORE YOUR STUDENT MAY RIDE THE BUS AND ATTEND THE PROGRAM.

The program WILL NOT RUN ON THE FOLLOWING DATES: 08/30, 09/02, 10/03, 11/05, 11/27-11/29, 12/23-01/03, 01/20, 02/17-02/21, 03/24-03/28, 04/18, 05/26.

Friday Fun Days! This is a special program for students in the ASYP when there is a half day at school. All participants must be a member of the After School Youth Program to register. Half-days will include pool & pizza party at the Hawk Community Center. Early registration offers a discounted price of $15, and includes two slices of pizza, pop and pool party with fun activities. Don't forget your bathing suit & towel! Fee increases to $25 if registering two weeks or less prior to event date. Pick up by 5:30pm to avoid late fees. Bus transportation will still be available on half days for students that register for Hawk Half Days. The program will start after school is dismissed on the half day.

There are three Hawk Halfs Days for the 2024-2025 school year: 9/20/24, 1/17/25, and 3/07/25

Nature Guides will lead fun and engaging outdoor activities in Heritage Park each week, including wilderness skills, animal encounters, hiking adventures, geocaching, fishing, gardening, art and more! Dress for the weather and exploring outdoors. Bring a snack and water bottle. After School Youth Program students that register for ASYP Nature Club will have transportation by bus to Heritage Park after school for the program. Pick-up will take place at Heritage Park when the program ends at 5:30pm.
