Shaker-Style Tables

Shaker tables are notorious for their well-made, simple aesthetic and design. Participants will learn the protocols of the Hawk Makerspace woodshop and machines, the use of hand tools, and the concepts of joinery. Demonstrations and discussions will supplement hands-on learning as students each build their own unique shaker-style end table. Learn to edge, join, and glue boards; layout joints; cut tapered legs; join rails to legs with mortise and tenon joinery, and more! Teachers will assist you with you achieving your personal design goal.

You MUST provide your own personal protection equipment - Safety glasses and Hearing protection.
