Screen Printing on Paper
Learn the basics of screen printing through accessible processes that can be easily replicated at home. In this course, students will explore color and image using paper stencils and the drawing fluid/screen filler methods for screen printing. Students will create a series of single and multi-color prints on paper while learning the potential of screen printing as a means of artistic expression for creating editions, monoprints, and artist books. Guided by their own interests, ideas, and images, students will investigate the printing process, exploring different methods to bring their vision to life on paper. All materials provided.
