Build your skills in drawing with various media to create an emphasis on expressive line, shading, proportion, perspective, and other elements and principals of design. Students will work from scale model art figures, personal observation of self-portraiture and of peers, and from photographic references, learning how to translate 3-dimensional figures and faces into 2-dimensional images. Students must provide their own supplies.
Note that by registering for this class, you are eligible for 2D Open Studio for a small, additional fee. Open Studio provides an opportunity for class participants to work on their work in the studio, outside of class time.
